I’ll need a few things from you to get started on your audiobook.

• Obviously, I’ll need a copy of your finalized manuscript. My preference is for a Word document so that I can adjust fonts to make it easier for me to read off of my computer screen. A pdf version of your text is fine as well. Please contact me if your text is in some other format.

• Smooth speed bumps for me by providing a pronunciation guide for unusual names, particularly technical terms, acronyms, and/or specialized abbreviations. You’ve done a ton of work to make your created world believable; help me accurately share that vision with listeners.

• Introduce me to your main characters. Who are they? What - if anything - defines them? Is there some backstory or personality characteristic for me to be aware of that would help me make them fully three-dimensional to the listener? Do they speak with an accent, a dialect, or some unusual speech characteristic? For a series, which characters will be recurring?
